PROVERBS 9: WISE WOMEN AND FOOLISH WOMEN


WISE WOMEN

When her home is built on these 7 pillars, her home stands strong.
(1.) Love
(2.) Trust
(3.) joy
(4.) Gentleness
(5.) Truth, peace
(6.) Understanding, temperance
(7.) Fear of the Lord, faithfulness,

*She sets a scrumptious dinner table
*She has maids and is well-known in the city
*She helps simple people with understanding
 and excellent teaching

*She is: hospitable, friendly, good-humored,
 amicable, harmonious, sociable, good-natured,
 genial, affable, warm, welcoming, gracious,
 pleasant, courteous, well-mannered, civil,
 cordial, jovial, convivial, loving, tender and
 warmhearted.

*She speaks with words filled with wisdom.
*She understands who to give her wisdom to
because some people will not receive what she
has.

*She is not a scorner or mocker.
*She is far-sighted.
*She sees problems ahead and avoids them.

*When rebuked, she loves the person doing it
because she desires to be wise.*She gives and
gets instructions so she is extremely intelligent.

*She teaches and loves to be taught so she
increases in understanding.

*She fears the Lord and knows this is the
beginning of wisdom. And the knowledge of the
Holy brings understanding.

*Her years are increased and multiplied because
of her reverent fear of the Lord.

*She is not haughty because she understands if
she is a scorner – she is alone.


FOOLISH WOMEN

-The foolish woman is: clamorous, simple and
does not know anything. She is: rowdy, sinful, boisterous, deafening, riotous, raucous, and vociferous.
     
-The foolish woman: is short-sighted: only seeing what she wants for the moment.

-The foolish woman: is bored and has no desire to take care of her home

-The foolish woman also can sit in the high places in the city.

-The foolish woman calls to anyone passing by her. “Hey you! Come here!” To anyone who will hear her, she entices with, “Have I got a
story for you.

-The foolish woman preys on simple and the lack of understanding people. People who are: churlish,fractious,sullen,morose, in a huff, petulant and in a funk.  

-The foolish woman loves to teach stealing is fun and using those stolen items is rewarding.

-Understand this: the dead are in the foolish woman’s home and her guests are in the depths of hell.
