IN GOD WE TRUST

Some leaders in Washington are saying our country is not a Christian-Based nation any more.
THIS IS INCORRECT!

Our country was based on the Bible.
Our country will only stand firm because being based on the Bible.

The Department of Education is trying to eradicate all ties with the Bible and the real history of our nation’s beginning.
THIS IS HORRENDOUS!

My daughter told me bit of the incorrect teaching she had learned about our forefathers in school.
WHO IS DOING THIS?

I have always loved history so I see clearly the incorrect teachings. It is a grave injustice to ruin our nation’s children with lies and propaganda.

How reckless and cruel to not allow our nation’s children to fully understand what a great country we were and can be again.

They need to be taught:
 With Freedom comes with responsibility.
 We are our brother’s keepers.
With hard work, we can succeed.
Government by the people, for the people.

They need to know:
If you do not work, you do not eat.
We need to help the helpless. (not the lazy)
We need to strengthen our families.
We do not succeed off the backs of others.
 Getting money from the government
 comes from a USA citizen.
The bigger the government the less freedoms.

Pocahontas became a Woman of God. She was responsible for spreading the gospel and being someone who brought peace.

A life-sized painting of her being baptized is hanging in the rotunda in Washington, DC.

She was a leader in our nation.
She served the Lord Jesus Christ
She honored God by being baptized.

Our nation, the United States of America, has been protected, blessed and great because Godly men and women serve, honor, worship and praise God Almighty and our Lord Jesus Christ no matter the cost.

II Chronicles 7:14
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Christians, we need to fall on our knees and faces and pray with earnest, faith-filled prayers and supplications to our Father God Almighty for our nation, The United States of America, to come back to the basics: the 10 Commandments and the Bible, God’s Holy Word.

Everyone will benefit.

FAITH WALKING IS NOT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED

Proverbs 24:10
“If thou faint in the day of adversity,
thy strength is small.”

What does this mean to me?
When I read the Bible, pray and hear from God – I am required to stand up and go forth, believing Jesus Christ has given me all I need.

Colossians 2: 7-10
Rooted and strengthened in Jesus Christ, the only Son of God

Always being thankful

Staying with the Word of God

Not allowing men’s philosophy and worldly wisdom take me away from the simplicity of the gospel which has never changed.

God does not change.

Father - Almighty God

Jesus Christ
The Son of God
Died for our sins,
Raised from the dead
And sits by the Father,
Interceeding for us.

The Comforter - The Holy Ghost

Because I am complete in Jesus Christ
I can do all things through Christ Jesus
which strengthens me.

Jesus Christ,
The head of all principality and power.

I praise and worship the Lord Jesus Christ.

*She sets a scrumptious dinner table

 and excellent teaching

 amicable, harmonious, sociable, good-natured,
 genial, affable, warm, welcoming, gracious,
 pleasant, courteous, well-mannered, civil,

 warmhearted.

of her reverent fear of the Lord.

*She is not haughty because she understands if
she is a scorner – she is alone.

FOOLISH WOMEN

1st CHRONICLES 7:14 - WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLEEP

1ST CHRONICLES 7:14

“If my people, who are called by my Name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my Face and turn from their wicked ways,

THEN

I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin
And I will heal their land.”

Our land, the United States of America, is sick with sin.

Christians are fighting over small ideologies.

Christians are voting their own personal economy ahead of God’s Laws

The 10 commandments: Christians are allowing wicked men and women to try and remove them from everyone’s sights.

Ask yourself: WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH THEM…

1.  No other Gods before Him
2.  No graven images of God in my house and never bow to any graven images of other gods
3.  Do not use God’s name in vain
4.  Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy
5.  Honor your Father and Mother so that you may live long in the land I have given you
6.  Do not murder
7.  Do not commit adultery
8.  Do not steal
9.  Do not lie. Do not bear false witness against your neighbor
10.Do not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor

MAYBE THOSE WHO WANT TO WIPE OUT THE 10 COMMANDMENTS REALLY ONLY DESIRE TO TREAT OTHER PEOPLE WRONG.

I have seen Christians bow their heads, looking like they have to take all this treacherous evil across our lovely land.

They don't know who they are in Christ Jesus.

Check the Bible:  evil never wins.

Proverbs 2:21 - 23 "So you will walk in the way of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will live in the land and the blameless will remain in it:

BUT the wicked will be cut off from the land

AND the treacherous will be uprooted from it."

I AM FALLING ON MY FACE AND PRAYING FOR FORGIVENESS.

I WANT MY LAND TO BE HEALED.

THE RIGHT ACTION KILLS DOUBT

Karla Tabor
March 20, 2014

As composers of music we think of our songs as our children so that positive comments never seem good enough. The negative comments, well, they are devastating.

Romans 8:36-38 “Just as it is written, 'FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED.' But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, can separate us from the love of God.

Letting comments stop progress is like looking back when we are plowing a field.

Luke 9:62 “But Jesus told him, "Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God."

Stay focused and write a boatload of songs cause this will help overcome those immature feelings of doubt.

We must think like a salesman who plays the ‘Numbers Game’.
The more songs we write, the better our perspective becomes on our own work and the less worried we are about what other people think about us.

Sorry, there’s no way around this. We must create a catalog of songs to find our ‘voice’ as music composers.

Be patient with ourselves.
Put our hand to the plow.

And write, write… write.

JEALOUSY - IT'S ONE LOUSY CLOAK

JEALOUSY – a lousy coat.
It’s not the Christian’s style.
It’s the world’s style
*Envy
*Covetousness
*Resentment
*Protectiveness
*Suspicion
*Distrust
*Disbelieve
*Doubt
*Mistrust
*Have misgivings about
A musician, lyricist, composer, singer… someone in the arts – we are super sensitive which leaves us open for thoughts and feelings of jealousy.
Jealously quandary
it’s a brain activity
not a heart activity.

While we smile and pretend we are happy for someone else as we deal with thoughts like these:
1. There can only be one lead
2. Why didn’t they pick me
3. I am better than them
4. When will I get to minister in music?
5. I want to do my music

·         Luke 12:15:  Then He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.”
·         Colossians 3:5 “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.”
·         II Corinthians 11:3 “But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.”
The serpent in the Garden of Eden brought doubt so Eve yielded to that doubt and lost everything.
Gen 3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it.”
Jealousy – is a lousy coat worn to hide feelings of doubt. We all have covetous brain activity. We have a choice: Take off the jealousy coat and walk in God’s love or keep it on and lose everything.

HOW DID I GET HERE?

Hands in my pockets humming and minding my own business then...

BAM!     Problems, pains and debt hit my life.

WHY? I cry out to God: sobbing and complaining.

I ask myself...   "How in the world did I get here?"

How did I get into debt?
How did I get sick?
How did I get to the point that I cannot even walk without pain?
How? How? How? (the slapping of the forehead is a must.)

Think hard, Karla. You really know 'HOW'.

I had not been obedient to all of God's small course corrections.

Airplane pilots say to stay on course they must make small course corrections all the time. If they don't then instead of landing in Tulsa they would land in Timbuktu.

Hmmm...so those small 'Course Corrections' God is prompting me to do - they will keep me out of debt. Keep me healthy.  Keep me from crashing into a mountain!

Everyday, I must take time to turn off the media, all those yelling voices vying for my attention. I must get quiet and hear the voice of God. I must listen for His small course corrections for my personal life so I will end up where I should be: God's perfect will for my life.

Turn the dial.
Set the course.
The sky is the limit.

What Happens When Circumstances or Life Does Not Go Our Way?

If being a Christian is not popular.

I will not change.

If things go wrong (and they have)
I will not stop loving Jesus.

Only Jesus has the words of Life so I will sing praise to My Lord Jesus, my Savior, My King of kings, My Healer, My Provider, My Strenghener, My Protector.

Where He leads me, I will follow.
Where He leads me, I will follow.
Where He leads me, I will follow.
Follow
Follow
All my days.

John 6:66 "From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

67“You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.

68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”
