PLANNING: MY DESIGN OF WHAT I WILL WRITE

Anything in life needs planning.

A vacation.
Getting that great job.
Sewing a shirt.
Crocheting a throw:

The list is endless.

This means: I need a plan because without a plan, I wander aimlessly in a cesspool of nothing while going nowhere.

Therefore Karla, writer and music composer, will develop solid plans.

So I sit back, relax and let the creative juices flow.

After I get an idea: Here are six steps from the book, Essentials of English to get my work done. (written in my own special lingo)

1. I need a purpose. (How do I know where I am    going unless I have a purpose?)
2. Create the major parts
3. Outline the major parts and arrange them in    the correct order.
4. Develop the guts for each major part
5. Outline the guts of each major part.
6. Create subdivisions. Outline them.

Taking the time to do this,
though it seems a bit tedious,
will bring great results.

In other words:
know where I am going:
get the help I need to get there;
and don't quit until it is completed.
